At the moment the AFP website for reporting crimes is currently insecure. This means any Australian using this website to report a crime may be exposing that information to a cyber attacker.

Even an Australian government that is a well funded security focused agency that Australian’s expect to protect them and their data has trouble with their security.

So avoid using the form, until they fix the AFP fix it*.

*Update: The AFP website has now resolved this vulnerability.

If the Australian Federal Police need help with their security then it is likely most businesses need help.
