  • Hackers were able to access networks in 93% of cases

New findings from penetration testing projects by Positive 

Technologies show that in several industries, including financial 

services, energy, government, and IT, hackers were able to breach an organisation’s network and access resources.

  • In 2021, there were 50% more cyber attacks per week than in 2020

Bolstered by the log4j vulnerability that was exposed at the end of 2021, new data shows that there were 50% more cyber attacks on corporate networks per week when compared to 2020.

  • Top threats for SMBs include phishing, compromised devices, and credential compromise

While attack vectors vary across companies, research shows that the top three threats small businesses face are phishing and social engineer attacks at 57%, stolen devices at 33%, and credential compromise at 30%.
