Researchers are warning about a newly found cyber security vulnerability in your home

Researchers are warning about a newly found vulnerability in the Philips Hue smart light system that could give hackers access to your home, or office, networks of users. What does this mean exactly?

IoT devices, such as smart homes, google home, google voice, amazon echo and Alexa and even your smart light bulbs can pose a security risk and can even be used to take over networks or plant malware into your systems.

Researchers are urging Philips Hue users to ensure their devices have the latest patches and keep an eye out for unusual behaviour of their IoT and smart devices. Learn more about this research here.
