The GiveBack Program

The Vertex Cyber Security Giveback Program is a team-led initiative to share our expertise and empower individuals and organisations with essential cyber security knowledge.

We have a passionate, committed and deeply experienced team based in the Philippines who are keen to “give back” to their local community by sharing their knowledge and experience through in-person presentations or online webinars. They are well supported by our Australian based team and work together collaboratively to develop the program and materials.

Acknowledging that education is not readily available for common areas of cyber risk (eg. phishing, password security and password managers, mobile devices, unsecured wifi and removable media) for both individuals and organisations in the Philippines, our team help to increase education and awareness through visiting local schools and colleges in their communities.

We believe that by sharing our knowledge, we can contribute to a more secure, resilient and prosperous community.
